10 days after several women groups besieged the National Assembly in daily protests of the rejection of gender bills during the process of the constitution amendment, the group has now suspended its protest for the next two weeks.

The action of the women group is following assurances from the leadership of the National Assembly that the lawmakers will revisit the rejected bills in the next seven legislative days.
