Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno says the state will soon attract the highness number of tourists in Nigeria.
Governor Eno said this while flagging -off the restart of construction work at the Tropicana Entertainment Center in Uyo, the state capital.
The 5000 capacity convention Centre and the 200 room Ibom Hotel at the Tropicana Entertainment Centre began 15 years ago but was abandoned for unknown reasons.
Speaking at the event, Governor Eno called on everyone in the state to bury political differences to forge the state ahead.

The State Commissioner for Special Duties and Ibom Deep Sea Port, Ini Ememobong said the event was the fulfillment of a dream.
The Tropicana Entertainment Centre was conceived to host shopping malls, cineplex , wet and dry park, convention centre and a five star hotel.
