The Corpse of the Fulani leader of Panyam district in Mangu local government area of Plateau state, (Ardo) Adamu Idris, who was declared missing has been discovered and recovered by the Troops of the special Taskforce Operation Safe Haven Plateau.
The special Taskforce while Addressing Journalists on the latest development at their headquarters in Jos said, the decomposed body of the late Fulani leader was found in Boi village of Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

The deceased Adamu Idris was declared missing on September 24, in Panyam District of Mangu Council area.
The sudden disappearance of the Fulani leader, generated tension and threatened the efforts being made to achieve peace in Mangu Community.
The special Taskforce while Addressing Journalists in Jos said the troops were able to recover the body of the missing Ardo around Boi village, in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State after it conducted an operation on Thursday October 5.
According to the special Taskforce, the recovery of Ardo Idris remains is a significant step torwards unravelling those behind his disappearance and death and to ensure justice is served as directed by the Chief of Army Staff.
While the body of the Community leader has since been handed over to the family for proper burial, the special Taskforce Operation Safe Haven described as false the statement earlier made by the Chairman of Miyetti Allah in Plateau that the corpse was recovered in Kanke council area of the state, saying it’s Operation Conducted was in Boi and Kanke.
