The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a fresh suit challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s Election in 2019.
Justice Inyang Ekwo dismissed the suit for lacking in merit and for constituting an abuse of court process.
Ambrose Oworu , a former presidential candidate of Hope Democratic Party (HDP) had filed a suit against the election of President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2019 Presidential election.
He wants the court to declare the Presidential seat vacant and Buhari not the authentic winner of the 2019 election.

He wants the court to declare the postponement of the election by INEC from Feb 16 to Feb 23 as unlawful, unconstitutional and illegal.
Oworu had claimed that he won the February 16, 2019 Presidential election and that his suit against Buhari at the Supreme Court was inconclusive due to errors on adjourned date.
Justice Ekwo however held that supreme court has the final decision on any matter brought before it.
