A Yaba Chief Magistrate Court Thursday ordered the remand of Azeez Adekunle Lawal, also known as Kunle Poly and two others, Onikoyi Johnson and Agboola Kosoko in the facility of the Nigeria Police Zonal Monitoring Unit Zone in Onikan Lagos for 30days following the deadly clash last Thursday at Idumota, Lagos
Chief Magistrate Linda Balogun made the remand order of the three members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, after their application for remand was moved by Morufu Animashaun who informed the court that the application is pursuant to section 264(1), (2),(3) ,(4) and (6) of the Administration of criminal justice law of Lagos State, 2021 as amended.

Animashaun told the court that the application sought for is to enable the police conclude investigation of case of threat to life and property, violence, cultism, mayhem and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.
The chief magistrate later granted the request.
