Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, has fixed June 9, 2026, to rule on the bail application of social media influencer, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, who is facing trial over an alleged N36 million fraud.

The EFCC is prosecuting her on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing.

During proceedings, the prosecution opposed the bail application, arguing that the defendant allegedly failed to honour EFCC invitations during investigation.

The Commission’s first witness, investigator Bufa Okangbe, told the court that investigations revealed the defendant allegedly collected 36 million naira from a petitioner for a property she did not own.

She further stated that findings from the Lagos State Land Bureau confirmed the property belonged to another individual, while bank records allegedly traced the movement of funds to several accounts.

Justice Dipeolu admitted key documents tendered by the prosecution into evidence and adjourned the matter till June 22, 2026, for continuation of trial.
