A Federal High Court Sitting In Benin City has Adjourned hearing on the alleged 700 million naira fraud Case involving the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the September 19 governorship election in the state.
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the immediate past and present Edo State chairmen of the People Democratic Party, PDP Dan Orbih and Tony Aziegbemi as well as the former Deputy Governor of the State Lucky Imasuen and one other due to the absence of Osagie Ize-Iyamu the first Defendant in court.

The second to fifth defendants were all in court, but following the absence of Ize-Iyamu in court this Tuesday, the presiding Judge, Mohammed Umar adjourned the case to on Tuesday 14 of July twenty and ordered Ize-Iyamu who is the first defendant to appear before it on the adjourned date.
Counsel to the first Defendant Charles Edosanmwan SAN had told the Court that His client Osagie Ize-iyamu could not make it to the Court because of his present health challenge and went ahead to present to the court a doctor’s report to buttress his claim
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had filed the case of The alleged seven hundred million naira laundering against Ize-Iyamu and four others.
