The Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero has applauded the Federal and Kano State Governments for procuring vaccines to protect the people against COVID-19 infection.
The Emir gave the commendation during an interactive session with the media at his palace in Kano.

The Emir encouraged the general populace of the state to ensure they take the Covid-19 vaccination.
Parents were also encouraged to ensure that the birth of all children is registered and should commence breast feeding immediately after birth, and in the first six months of the child’s life.
Emir Bayero charged parents and caregivers to be responsible for discharging their responsibilities towards children, as assigned to them by God.
