The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in Cross River State says it has commenced redeployment of Corps members posted to some communities in Yala and Boki Local Government Areas where problem of insecurity are visible.
The communal clash in the two Local Government Areas over land disagreement have claimed some lives in some of the communities.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony of 1,600 batch B Stream 2 at the Obubra Orientation Camp, Cross River State Coordinator of the Scheme, Zemo Andrew said NYSC gives priority to the Security of its Corps members.

Andrew who was assisted by the Camp Coordinator, Peter Enuma said the security and safety of Corps members are of utmost priority, hence the need for a compulsory Covid-19 test before any of the prospective Corps members is admitted into the camp.
The Coordinators urged Corps members to be law-abiding and be useful to their host communities where ever they are posted to do their primary assignments.
