The Kogi State Government has accused Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele and the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa
Of destroying the integrity of Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari by seemingly disobeying the Supreme Court order on the extension of deadline for the old naira notes submission and failure of Bawa to purge himself of Court contempt.
State Commissioner For Information Kingsley Fanwo made the accusation in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital during a press briefing on the state of affairs in Kogi State.

He called on President Buhari to call both public office holders to order, saying their actions portend doom for the nation’s justice administration and democracy.
On the scarcity of the redesigned Naira notes, Fanwo said Nigerians do not deserve the hardship they are getting which is why the Kogi state governor is challenging the federal government on the policy and short period for the currency note swap.
Fanwo said the new naira policy has sent Nigeria back to the stone age where villagers have no option than to engage in trade by barter.
