Over seven million tablets of Counterfeit Gonorrhea Antibiotic drugs have been intercepted by the Nigerian Customs Command in Rivers State.
The Onne Area Two Comptroller Mohammed Babadede, who stated this during the display of twenty-two seized containers affirmed that the arrest was made possible through collaboration with other sister security agencies.
Giving insight on the twenty-two seized caravans, containing various contraband goods, the area two Onne Customs Comptroller Mohammed Babadede explained that fake antibiotics were among the intercepted drugs.
Inspecting the containers with other sister security agencies, the Comptroller emphasized how dangerous the contraband goods were for human consumption.
In reeling out his achievements, Babadede said the command has generated over five hundred and fifty billion naira within the period under review and also made remarkable progress in the area of export.
The comptroller further warned importers who were bent on violating the import and export duty policies to desist or be ready to face the full wrath of the law.
