Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore says the application by the Department of State Services, DSS to seek an adjournment of his trial for alleged cyber bullying of President Bola Tinubu till after the 2027 general election is “baseless and unnecessary.”
Sowore told AIT.live in a phone chat that the charges should be dropped as they are unfounded and have no legal basis.
AAC National Publicity Secretary, Rex Elanu has also weighed in, demanding that the case should be discontinued or Sowore be allowed to prove his innocence in court.
