DAAR Communications PLC is charting a path toward recovery, with improved financial performance in 2025 reflecting the impact of ongoing reforms.

Riding on this momentum, shareholders have re-elected Raymond Dokpesi Jnr as Chairman, alongside Director Emeka Mba, at the company’s 17th and 18th Annual General Meetings in Abuja.

At the Annual General Meeting of Nigeria’s pioneer private broadcaster, DAAR Communications Plc reported steady progress towards profitability.

This represents a significant improvement when compared to the N2.34 billion loss recorded in 2024.

Management described the reduced losses as a clear indication that ongoing restructuring and strategic reforms are beginning to yield positive results.

Addressing shareholders, the Board Chairman, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr expressed confidence in the company’s recovery trajectory, assuring investors and the Nigerian public that deliberate steps have been put in place to restore the organisation to its leadership position in the broadcast industry.

Meanwhile, shareholders reacted to the recent controversy involving alleged unlawful redistribution of shares of DAAR Investments Company Limited and DAAR Communications Plc on the portal of the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, an issue which the companies have demanded should be investigated.

With renewed leadership, improving financial indicators, and a clear strategic direction, DAAR Communications Plc says it is positioning itself for stability, growth, and a return to industry prominence, reaffirming its commitment to delivering credible and impactful broadcasting to Nigerians.
