Following the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State by President Bola Tinubu due to the lingering political crisis in the state, the factional chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Chukwuemeka Emeka Aaron has attributed the rather unfortunate Incident to the Governor’s flagrant disobedience to the rule of Law.
Chukwuemeka said this at the party’s Secretariat in portharcourt while reacting to the development.

He further thanked the president for stepping in as he described the events that led to the declaration as the prerequisite of anarchy in the State.
He further advised Rivers State residents to remain calm as they look forward to a more democratic ways of restoring lasting peace to the state.
