A sudden wave of insecurity is presently being experienced in some parts of Delta state.

Recently, there have been a surge in reported cases of kidnappings and criminal activities in some parts of Delta state.

The worrisome development, according to some residents could have a negative impact on the state’s economy, if not addressed urgently.

The state government has nowever assured residents that it was committed to wining the war against criminality,

Majority of the residents in the state believe that enhanced security in the state, would go a long way to reverse the trend.
