Delta Gun Running: Police apprehends septuagenarians, intercepts 130 rounds of live cartridges

Officers from Ozoro Police Division in Isoko-south Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested 77 year old Michael Enipozi who specialises in manufacturing and selling guns to armed robbers.

The Seventy-seven year old was arrested in Irri community in Isoko-south Council Area, after the police foiled a robbery operation and arrested one of the robbers along Ozoro/Ughelli road, who led the officers to their gun manufacturer.

The gun runner, Michael Enipozi upon interrogation confessed he has been in the business of manufacturing and selling guns to armed robbers for over two decades.

Delta Commissioner of Police, Ari Mohammed in a statement signed by the Command spokesperson, Bright Edafe says operatives of the Command Crack Squad in a separate raid on black spots at Emevor community, Isoko-North Council Area of the State, also arrested Sixty-five year old Solomon Udanya in possession of One Hundred and Thirty rounds of live Cartridges and unlicensed single barrel gun.

Other exhibits recovered from Solomon Udanya were packets of Tramadol, bottles of Codeine and several other contraband drugs.
