Three suspected cultists have been arrested by police operatives attached to the quick response squad in Warri, Delta State.
The suspects were arrested while on their way to confront another rival cult group.
The suspected cultists, all males, whose identities are Chukwuma Owoh age 26years, Ediri Ogendengbe age 32years and Alfred Kess aged 32years, were arrested by the police during a stop and search duty.
Upon interrogation the suspects confessed that they were on their way to attack some Aiye confraternity cult members in pessu area of warri south local government area, who molested Chukwuma Owoh’s younger sister.

The state commissioner of police, Ari Mohammed in a statement issued, commended the quick response squad for their eagle-eyes, which according to him foiled what could have resulted to a bloody clash between the rival cult groups.
Items recovered from the suspected cultists included matchetes,a locally made gun and some rounds of live cartridges.
