Delta Police Arrest Over Twenty Suspected Criminals For Various Offences

Over twenty suspected criminals have been arrested by the Delta state police command.

The suspects who were arrested between 24 December 2024, and January 2025, were paraded before journalists during a press briefing, at the Ekpan divisional police station in Warri, Delta state by the command’s spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe.

The police spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe began his briefing with the arrest of a serial car snatchers syndicate, Junior Emmanuel age 33, and Julius Samuel age 28, whose targeted victims are uber drivers and how they murdered a cab driver at Osubi area in December, 2024.

Other suspects include a notorious armed robbery gang who pose as tricycle operators and robb passengers at night, a 25 years old child trafficker, Blessing Kojo who gave away her six weeks old baby under false pretenses for two hundred thousand naira, cultists and a self kidnap scheme involving a woman identified as faith Oghenejabor alias Amanda Smart, who faked her abduction to extort nearly two million Naira from a Facebook acquaintance.

While commending residents for providing vital information that has facilitated the arrests, the police command has again reaffirmed its commitment to ensure justice.
