Delta State Government has dismissed claims by former Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege that his life and that of his family are under threats.
Commissioner for Public Information, Charles Aniagwu while reacting to the allegations, described Omo-Agege claims as cheap publicity aimed at attracting sympathy.
Aniagwu advised the former Deputy President of the Senate to focus on his campaign and desist from acts capable of creating tensions.

Omo-Agege who is the Delta Central senatorial candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC for the 2027 general elections, had on his Facebook page alleged that the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, should be held responsible if any harm comes to him or his family as he begins his campaign.
