The Founder and Chairman Emeritus of DAAR Communications Plc, High Chief Aleogho Dokpesi, wants the Nigerian youths to rescue their future from the hands of the current political leadership in the country, which he says is gradually mortgaging their future.

Dokpesi gave the challenge when he received in audience, members of the Northern Youth Leaders Forum, (NYLF), who was on a working visit to his home in Abuja.

The Northern Youth Leaders Forum led by its National President, Elliot Afiyo, were at the Asokoro home, to jaw-jaw with the media magnate, over the general socio-political malaise in Nigeria, especially the rising insecurity, poor management of public wealth, dwindling economy, and the deepening division along ethnic and religious lines.

The media magnate, High Chief Aleogho Dokpesi, an astute believer in the ‘One Nigeria Project’, noted that the Buhari administration has placed the country on the threshold of collapse.

He, therefore, called on the visiting youth leaders to take the responsibility of working with their counterparts from other regions who believe in one Nigeria, to secure their future.

The Northern Youth Leaders Forum is currently working against the zoning of the presidential ticket by any of the registered political parties, insisting on the emergence of a credible candidate with the capacity to save the country from its present predicaments.
