As Christians across the world observe the 2024 Good Friday, Church leaders in Ilorin the Kwara State capital have urged Christians and the political class to make sacrifices for one another in the true spirit of the day.
The church leaders made the call during special service across various churches where faithful were taught lessons on the death of Jesus Christ .
The church leaders while calling on faithful and the political class to live a sacrificial life exemplified by Jesus Christ say, only such can bring about love and peace in the society.

They want the political class to show empathy given the economic hardship in Nigeria and the threat of insecurity.
The submissions by the clergy is that to have a better world, everyone must live a life of sacrifice for peace to reign .
