Nigeria's Vice President, Kashim Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima has assured Nigerians of better days ahead, saying the current difficulties are temporary. He restated the administration’s commitment to peace, economic recovery, and long-term prosperity.

The Vice President in his 2026 Easter message expressed optimism that Nigeria will overcome its economic and security challenges. He noted that the path to national renewal demands sacrifice and collective resolve.

Shettima said Easter reminds Nigerians that no period of hardship lasts forever. He urged citizens to remain united and support the reforms of the President Tinubu administration.

The Vice President called on Nigerians to reject division and embrace unity, stressing that national progress requires patience, endurance, and a shared sense of purpose.
