The Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, has called on political stakeholders in the state, to embrace unity, for the sake of the development of the state.
Umahi made the call while addressing members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ebonyi State chapter, during the Party’s stakeholders meeting in Abakaliki, the state capital.
The stakeholders meeting was in respect of the forthcoming nationwide membership registration and revalidation of the APC.

Governor Umahi observes that, in the past, Party differences had brought so much bitterness and enmity among the people, which making them to lose so much at the centre.
Going forward, the Governor wants them to put patriotism above politics in the state.
He also advised the APC leadership in the state against infighting, imposition of candidates and factionalism.
Those who attended the meeting included the immediate past Governor of the state, Martin Elechi amongst other dignitaries.
