The Ebonyi State Government South East Nigeria, has imposed night curfew at all the entry and exit points into the state.
This follows the recent security breaches and deadly attacks on the security personnel, by unknown gunmen in the State.
Briefing journalists at the end of the State Emergency Security Council meeting on Wednesday, Governor Umahi, announced that henceforth, no person or vehicle will be allowed in and out of Ebonyi State from 8 o clock in the evening to 6 o clock in the morning.
The Governor further made public, a restriction order on the wake-keep and other social activities in the state beyond 6pm.
He also directed all Okada riders, to form their own vigilante groups to check mate the security infractions resulting from them, or risk being banned.

The Ebonyi Governor insisted that unless fake news peddlers on the social media are cautioned,the insecurity challenges in the country may get worse.
