The Ecological Fund Office under the Office Of The Secretary To The Federal Government, (SGF), has been visiting Kebbi State for the inspection and data capture of the construction of culverts on a 10-kilometer road.
Head of the inspection team and staff assistant under the office of SGF, Shehu Rabi, said the project is an intervention in the third and fourth quarters of 2022.
Shehu explained that the work was meant to mitigate ecological problems in the affected areas.
The team leader appealed to the beneficiary communities to extend all the necessary support and cooperation to the contractors to facilitate good and speedy work.
The Secretary to the Government of Kebbi State, Yakubu Bala, assured the people of the areas that the government is determined to address their plights.

He added that the state government would key into the construction project to avert erosion problems and the collapse of buildings in the areas.
Responding on behalf of beneficiary communities Ayuba and Andi Andi, appreciated the government for coming to their aid, and prayed for more development projects in the area.
