The national leadership of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has raised fresh alarm over the general state of Insecurity in parts of Nigeria, describing the current forceful takeover of spaces by criminal elements and non-state actors as regrettable and condemnable.

The church made this know in a communique issued to Newsmen on Saturday, at the end of it’s 68th General Church Council meeting held at the international conference Hall of the ECWA Headquarters in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

The national leadership of ECWA led by its President Rev Dr. Stephen Baba Panya, expressed regrets that from what they have observed, criminal elements seems to be in control in the country vis-a-vis the seeming inability of government is decisively deal with the menace as well as protect the citizenry from the prowling merchants of death.

The Church equally condemned forceful occupation of natives farmlands and systematic genocide being executed against Christians and other autochthonous communities through out Nigeria, especially in the middle belt region.

The ECWA church General Council also raised concern over the on going agitations for secession and restructuring in parts of the country and called for the implementation of the resolutions of the 2014 National Conference, warning that the non Implementation of these resolutions would cause more harm than good.
