Students and teachers in the mission schools shut down over the hijab controversy have resumed for academic activities following government directive.
Most of the students in schools visited by ait.live said the early resumption will enhance their performance in the forthcoming WAEC and NECO examinations.
Similarly, the Vice-Principal Administration of the Cherubim and Seraphim College Sabo-Oke Ilorin, Yemi Adedayo said she is satisfied with the level of turnout of students and teachers.
Meanwhile, in his reaction, the President of Kwara Baptist Conference, Reverend Victor Dada said the issue is yet to be resolved with emphasis that the State Government forcefully took over the schools without any form of agreement.
Dada however advised the State Government to channel several millions of naira set aside for proposed feeding of the students and teachers on dilapidated school structures and other facilities.
