Edo Governorship Election: Traditional Ruler Of Urhonigbe Community Endorses APC’s Okpebholo

The traditional ruler of Urhonigbe community in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo state His Royal Highness Matthew Okunbor, has endorsed the candidate of the all progressives Congress APC in the next month’s Governorship election senator Monday Okpebholo.

The endorsement is a gesture of gratitude for the development initiated by former Governor Adams Oshiomhole in the area.

During the APC campaign visit to the community, the traditional ruler also conferred a chieftaincy title on Adams Oshiomhole.

The Edo APC Governorship campaign team arrived Urhonigbe community in Orhionmwon local government area in continuation of it’s ward-to-ward tour, the team went straight to the palace of the traditional ruler known as the Okaevbo of Urhonigbe community, His Royal Highness Mathew Okunbor pledged his support for Senator Okpebholo’s Governorship bid.

In addition to endorsing the APC candidate, the traditional ruler honoured former Governor Adams Oshiomhole with a chieftaincy title, Okakuo of Urhonigbe, in recognition of his contributions to the community’s development.

Following the palace visit, the campaign team moved on to various locations in Orhionmwon, addressing supporters eager to hear the APC’s vision for the state.

The APC campaign then moved to Uhunmwonde Local Government Area, visiting Eyaen, Ugoneki, Eguaeholor-Esi, and Ehor.

Senator Okpebholo assured the people that he will address the shortcomings of the current administration.

Okpebholo also received royal blessings from HRH Osazuwa Iduriase, the Enogie of Eyaen, during his visit to the palace.
