Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Edo North Senatorial District have presented a 5-point resolution to the leadership of the party in Edo State.

The AFEMAI leaders of the party are asking the PDP to zone the slot of the Deputy Governor in the forthcoming governorship election in the State to Edo North amongst other demands.

They disclosed this during the AFEMAI Declaration and Award presentation where distinguished sons and daughters from the zone were honoured in a well-attended event which took place at the private residence of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi in Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government Area of the State.

The AFEMAI Declaration was made after the leaders of the party in Edo North Senatorial District concluded sensitisation tour to the six local government areas in the zone.

The last places visited by the leaders were Fugar in Etsako Central and Agenebode in Etsako East Local Government Areas with the assurance that the PDP is united and ready to win the District for the party in the forthcoming governorship election.

The large crowd of PDP members and supporters in the places visited excited the party leaders.

Addressing the party faithful, State Party Chairman Dan Orbih, says the huge amount of debt owned by the current Edo State Government calls concern.

Chairman of the Edo-North Senatorial District Leaders Forum, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi while urging the AFEMAI people to be united showered encomium on the outgoing state party chairman Dan Orbih for his leadership quality.

The sensitization tour to PDP members and supporters by the leaders was aimed at reorganizing, re positioning and refocusing the party in Edo-North Senatorial District towards winning the 2020 governorship election in the State
