The Edo state police command has arrested three more suspects in connection with the kidnap of persons at the Ekekhen train station in Igueben local government area of Edo state.
The Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Dankwara, made this known on Wednesday during his maiden press briefing at the state Police Command Headquarters in Benin City with a warning to criminal elements to stay away from Edo state or face his combat-ready men.
He said no stone will be left unturned in dealing with those behind the train station attack at Igueben no matter how highly placed.
While parading some suspects in custody, Dankwara says the command has arrested over one hundred and thirty-four suspects for various crimes including murder, kidnapping, cultism, and armed robbery in the last two months

Three suspects including a thirty-nine-year-old law graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University admitted to have disguised as real estate agents to lure unsuspecting victims to building sites robbing them of their vehicles killing them and selling the vehicles as scrap to Chinese companies.
Items recovered from those arrested include five AK-47 rifles, four locally made pistols, ten vehicles, one hundred and thirty gas cylinders, and one point two million naira
