Edo poll: APC NEC ratifies Eze-Iyamu candidature

The National Executive Committee, NEC, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has ratified the emergence of Osagie Ize-Iyamu as the party’s candidate for the Edo governorship election fixed for September 19.

This was announced at the party’s NEC meeting held at the Aso Rock Villa, by the Acting National Chairman of the party, Victor Giadom.

Ize-Iyamu won last Thursday’s primary after polling 27, 838 votes to defeat his rivals, former Deputy Governor, Pius Odubu who garnered 3,776 votes and Osaro Obaze who got 2,724 votes.

The NEC also said all litigations in the court across the country will be withdrawn.
