Indigenes of Invianokpodi in Etsako East local government area of Edo state held their 2024 Okpodi cultural festival on Easter Sunday
The annual event which is aimed at fostering the tradition, culture, unity and love of the people featured masquerade displays, commissioning of an ICT centre in the community amongst others.
Every Easter Sunday, Indigenes of Invianokpodi in Etsako East local government area of Edo state, inrespective of their place of residence, come back home to be part of the Okpodi cultural festival day.
The day affords the Indigenes the opportunity to wine and dine together, and to discuss issues that affect the community as well as promoting the tradition, culture, love and unity among themselves.
The 2024 Okpodi cultural festival featured masquerade displays, cultural dances, awards ,music and comedy show as well as the distribution of some food items to some persons and the commissioning of an ICT centre in the community for the locals.
