The Eid El Kabir Sallah was conducted peacefully in Bauchi state with Governor Bala Mohammed calling on the people to be law abiding with various government policies and programs for the rapid Socio-economic Development of the State.
He Made the call after performing the prayer held at the Bauchi State Central Eid ground
Muslims in Bauchi State North East Nigeria joined their counterparts across the world to observe the two Rakaat prayer and the slaughtering of ram in line with Islamic injunction following the teachings of prophet Muhammad.
Shortly after performing the prayer Bauchi State Deputy Governor Auwal Jatau used the occasion to congratulate the Muslim Ummah for observing another Eid el Kabir Prayer peacefully in the state and charged them to use the period for sober reflection.
Auwal Jatau also enjoined the People of Bauchi state across religious and political lines to be security conscious through out the period so as to sustain the existing peace.
Present to observe the two Rakaat prayer were the Emir Of Bauchi, Rilwanu Sulaiman and other top government officials as no special Durbar procession was organised.
