The Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Aminu Ado Bayero, has advised leaders at various levels to emulate the outgoing Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade in transforming a rural community to an urban centre using quality healthcare projects.
The Royal Father stated this during the inauguration of the state-of-the-art 140-bed Obudu-German Specialist Hospital, along Obudu Ranch Road, saying the legacy projects will remain evergreen.

The first-class monarch averred that it was a self-fulfilling experience and honour for him to have travelled to Cross River State to inaugurate the hospital.
He called on the Governor’s critics to visit the hospital and other projects, saying his achievements are not talk shows, but reality on the ground.
According to Governor Ayade, the hospital was conceived to make Cross River State the number destination for medical tourism in Nigeria.
The Specialist hospital has modern medical equipment including 1.5 Tesla MRI, 128 Slice CT scan, 3D Mammogram, and ENT treatment units, among others.
