The Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal in Enugu State has upheld the INEC declaration of Governor Peter Mbah as the winner of March 18 Election, after dismissing all the grounds of the petition filed by the Labour Party and its governorship candidate, Chijioke Edeoga.
Justice Kudirat Murayo Akano, who read the judgement of the three-man panel, held that the petitioners could not prove beyond reasonable doubt, the grounds upon which they challenged the victory of Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Tribunal had earlier equally dismissed the petition of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and its candidate, Chris Agu.
