President of the Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria, SOFPON, Prof Musa Dakyau has called on governments to put in place structures to address the harsh economic climate, lamenting its effect on family health.
Dakyau made the appeal at a press conference as part of activities to mark the 26th Annual General and Scientific Meeting of the Society in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital
According to Dakyau, the rate of mental health issues, brain drain and insecurity in the country is worrisome.

Participants at the conference were optimistic of the positive outcome of deliberations at the conference.
