The Katsina police command has put the figures of the abducted victims from the Sunday night terrorist attack on Ruwan-Godiya Village in Faskari Local Government Area to 29 as against the earlier reported 38 persons.
Spokesman of the command Superintendent Gambo Isah who made the clarification said, security operatives are making efforts to ensure that the abducted victims were rescued unhurt.
He told AIT news that, some of the victims who could have escaped into the forests would be trying to find their ways back home as, figures may even drop as the day goes by.

You would recall that, terrorists operating in the forest area of Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State on Sunday, January 30 launched an attack on Ruwan-Godiya Village abducting about 38 persons according to locals while others claimed they were over 50, in an attack that lasted for about 2 hours.
