The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) says it is finalizing arrangements for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Councils election.
The Commission disclosed this at an Extraordinary meeting to review its preparations for the FCT Area Councils elections in Abuja.
INEC explained that all new registrants and requests for transfers as well as replacement of damaged cards have been printed and are available in all the six Area Councils for collection.
The electoral body appeals to citizens who applied for fresh registration as well as transfers and replacement of the PVCs to do so immediately and avoid last minute rush for these cards.
