The Original Inhabitants of the Federal Capital Territory have again appealed to the Federal Government to support the efforts to preserve their cultural heritage to accelerate socio-economic development.
A leader of the people, Maryamu Barnabas, made the appeal during a training Workshop for some 30 Abuja Natives at the Ushafa pottery center in Abuja at the weekend.
The FCT Original Inhabitants have continued to advocate the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Abuja natives to add value their lives and boost the economy of the territory.

The group also appealed to the federal government to come up with policies that can increase the productive capacities of Nigerians.
The people expressed optimism that the thirty persons trained on preservation of cultural heritage of the Abuja natives will greatly help to protect the common heritage of the original inhabitants of the FCT.
