FCT Police Arrest Notorious Gang Leader, Accomplices Behind Marriage Dispute Murder

‎A notorious terror gang leader, Abubakar Idris and his accomplices in the gruesome murder of one Ibrahim Danfulani over marriage dispute have been arrested.

‎In a statement signed by the FCT Police public Relations officer FCT Command Joseph Adeh , the gang leader was arrested along with Buhari Saidu and Musa Ahmadu Suleiman by police operatives from the Command.
‎
‎The statement said the incident happened in November, 2024, following Abubakar Idris’ frustration over Ibrahim Danlami’s intentions to marry a woman he had heavily invested in financially.
‎
‎The statement said Investigation revealed that the three man gang armed with knives, brutally attacked Ibrahim Danfulani, leading to his untimely death.

The statement also revealed that the gang also stole 18 cows belonging to the victim as compensation for Abubakar Idris’s perceived losses.

‎Abubakar Idris, who had fled the scene of the crime, was trailed and arrested in Nasarawa State while planning on recruiting new gang members to execute his sinister plot to return and kill the woman.
‎
‎The statement said it took a coordinated efforts of the FCT Police Command, in collaboration with residents of the Agaita community in Karu, to successfully arrest all the suspects who are now in police custody waiting to face prosecution and to ensure justice is served.
