FEC approves over 100bIllion naira for construction of roads and bridges

The Federal Executive Council, FEC, has approved over 98.7bIllion naira for the rehabilitation, construction of roads and bridges across the country. Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola announced this at the weekly FEC meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The ministry of interior sought and got approval from FEC for the procurement of forty-four operational vehicles for the Nigeria Immigration Service,NIS at the sum 768million naira.

Council further approved over 2billion naira for the furnishing of the NIS technology building centre.

The building is a data and communication command control centre which will serve as the service headquarters of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS.

Another 163million naira was also approved for consultancy services with a completion period of 4months.
