The Federal Government has filed fresh terrorism charges against the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, before the Federal High Court.

The Federal Government increased the counts to 15 counts charge contrary to the initial 7 count charge bothering on treasonable felony and terrorism against the IPOB leader.
Kanu who is expected to be tried in court on January 18, 19 and 20 will now enter his fresh plea to a 15-count amended charge marked signed by the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, Mohammed Abubakar.
