The Nigerian Government has placed sponsors of the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest on its watchlist, and blocked their accounts.

The Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nandap, who disclosed this at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja, during a meeting of Heads of Security Agencies and Service Chiefs, noted that the watch-list individuals would be arrested upon their arrival in the country.

Nandap further explained that the service has, in response to the protest, deployed more personnel to borders, both land and airports, to ensure effective management of entry points.

The authorities of the Immigration Service have also stepped up surveillance, to prevent foreign intervention in the country.
