The Federal Government is set to establish a full-scale cooking stove manufacturing facility in Ogun State.

This significant step in its quest to develop its clean energy sector was made public by the special presidential envoy on climate action Ajjuri ngelale after meeting with the Global Chief Executive Officer of Burn Manufacturing to discuss plans towards this initiative.

Ngelale said this upgrade from their current assemble-only plant in kano state aligns with nigeria’s growing focus on clean cooking as a wealth-creating opportunity and a key aspect of the transition.

Additionally, Ngelale received Brazilian Ambassador Joao Soares to explore climate action and green industrial collaboration opportunities between the two nations.

Recognizing their shared importance as Africa and South America’s most populous countries, Nigeria and Brazil aim to deepen industrial cooperation for climate justice and sustainable economic growth.
