The Federal Government says it has welcomed steps taken by an Online Digital platform, Meta, to help protect the integrity of the 2023 Elections, by combating disinformation, and making political adverts more transparent.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, made the government’s position known at a Media Conference.
He urged other online platforms to demonstrate a high level of responsibility, towards strengthening the General Elections.
