The Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, says it has successfully concluded exercise Camp Highland with tactical phase inoculation for Army cadets of 67 regular course and short service course 46 in Kachia, Kaduna State.
The academy said the drill is the final outdoor exercise for Army Cadets who are set to be commissioned into the Nigerian armed forces.
The exercise began on July 5, at Heipang and Shere Hills in Jos, Plateau State capital, and climaxed at 810 metres altitude table hill in Kachia.
It involves a battle inoculation which exposes the cadets to battle situation involving firing of live ammunitions of various weapons on selected targets.
The former Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Martin Luther Agwai, in his remarks, enjoined the cadets to use the skills acquired during their training to serve the Nigerian Army and the country in general.

General Agwai also charged the cadets to exhibit good leadership qualities as well as high sense of responsibility in whatever capacity they are called to serve.
The Army Cadets 67 Regular Course and Short Service Course 46 are expected to be commissioned into the Nigerian armed forces in October.
