The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC office in Takai Local Government Area of Kano State has reportedly been guttered by fire.
Reports say the incident happened on Sunday when unidentified persons started beating people which forced elections observers, Journalist and INEC officials to run for safety and hid in the ceiling but the thugs set the office on fire.

The attack happened when the collation officer of the Local Government Area was awaiting the arrival of the last two wards (Takai and Kachako) before announcing the official results of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly Elections.
