Fire has reportedly burned the Lagos Office of the West African Examination Council, WAEC in Yaba, Lagos State.
It was gathered that some workers, who resumed at the office as early as 7:30 am were in their offices when the fire incident occurred.

The cause of the fire could not be ascertained but some officials attributed it to an electrical surge.
Some workers, while trying to escape, got injured and are being attended to.
As of the time of filing this report, emergency responders have mobilised to the scene.
Neither the police nor WAEC officials have issued any official statement on the fire incident.
