At least five 5 persons have been killed in a clash between farmers and herders at Barkuta Village in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State.

Police spokesman, Wasi’u Abiodun, who confirmed the incident in a statement, said it occurred on Tuesday (August 27) at about 7 am, when one Sule Muhammed went to his farm with his son, and sighted some cattle on the farm, which prompted Sule to instruct his son to go home, while he traced the owner of the cattle.
