Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have arrived in Cairo, Egypt for the 2023 Africa Under Twenty Cup of Nations.
The players and their officials touched down at the Cairo International Airport on Thursday
after a 5hrs 30 minutes journey from Casablanca.
On arrival in Cairo, the team was received by the officials of the Nigeria Embassy in Egypt and went straight to Jewel Sports City and Aqua Resorts where the players and officials will be based.
The Ladan Bosso’s side observed their first training session earlier on Friday.

The 2023 Under Twenty AFCON will commence on Sunday with hosts Egypt taking on Mozambique in the competition’s opening game.
The Flying Eagles will also slug it out with the Young Teranga Lions of Senegal on the same day.
The competition will run from February 19 to March 11.
All four semi-finalists will represent Africa at the FIFA Under Twenty World Cup in Indonesia.
